How to Contribute

People new to Kiwiburn often assume that it’s a regular festival, where everything is planned and programmed, and attendees just come and enjoy the show. In fact, the exact opposite is true as the people who attend Kiwiburn are participants in every sense of the word: they create the city, the interaction, the art, the performance and ultimately the ‘experience’.

You are Kiwiburn. Whether you make a cup of tea for your neighbours, get stuck in to a large project, create a theme camp or blow up someone’s airbed, you can be a participant. Bring yourself and share with those around you.

At Kiwiburn it is the contributions of everyone that makes the event. Your art, your theme camp, your performance, your presence are what helps make Kiwiburn such a unique event. If you would like to participate by volunteering, find out more information here

If you have a contribution, be it performance, art, food, event or anything that you would like others to know about before the event, fill out the details in the form at the bottom of this page and we will post them in the register.

(Registration closes one week before the first day of the event. After this, we can't guarantee to put events in the register, as we'll be headed out to site).
