Tent rule change!
For anyone who’s building a camp at KB, here’s some good news:
With a recent law change, tents up to 50m2 area no longer need a building permit.
If you want to build anything like this, you don’t need to do any more than cover it off in the safety plan for your theme camp (or whatever) and have it approved by the H&S team. Two metre height limits are no more, but we do want to be sure that structures are practically safe with nothing for people to fall from or things that will fall on them.
