Kiwiburn is a community, not just an organisation, and it’s growing daily, so we have introduced a Community Engagement Lead to act as a conduit between the decision makers and those affected by the decisions. Kat Robbie will be facilitating information sharing and consultation to encourage active participation and a variety of voices in discussions that affect the community. Kat says:
“Kia ora Kiwiburn! I’m looking forward to being involved in another side of Kiwiburn and supporting the vital work by ExCom, as well as sharing the voices from the wider community as we evolve.
By day I’m a web developer, and at other times you’ll find me pottering about and nibbling on plants in the garden, or fermenting foods in our kitchen in Island Bay, Wellington.
