Come for the whole time\, or as many days as you can. \nMany volunteers will be needed for the event\, so think about how you can contribute. Built on the guiding principles of Burning Man\, Kiwiburn is a collective experience. Everybody contributes\, everybody pays. As there are no paid performers at the event\, there are no spectators and what is shared are the passions and dreams of those who gift them. You do not “attend” Kiwiburn\, you are a part of it. There is no money exchanged for anything at the event. You bring everything you need to survive. \nThere will be art installations and people in costume\, fire spinners\, drummers… but that’s just us\, and what we are doing… bring your passion and share with us your dreams. \nArt is an integral part of Kiwiburn\, installation\, performance\, interactive…. the limit is your imagination… so get creating…. the 2020 art theme is Eclectic Decade. DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of better late than never\, here are the details for this year’s Annual General Meeting\, a requirement of being an Incorporated Society. The event will be help on 16 December at 8pm and run for approximately 1.5 hours. \nIt is free to attend as a Kiwiburn member (your Kiwiburn membership fee is included in your ticket price). \nThis will be a Zoom meeting and we will release the details next week. \nAGENDA\nReview of the previous year\, which ended March 2020;\n– Chairperson’s report\n– Treasurer’s financial report\n– Festival Afterburn Report\n– Financials for approval\, including Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet \n– Review of Committee Members and Officers’ roles and holders of these positions;\n– Approval of plans for the balance of the current\, and next calendar years\n– Vote to continue the existence of the various sub committees (Conduct Committee\, Sustainability and KAC)\n– Available volunteer positions\n– Any other business.
