DESCRIPTION:Boom\, where art\, music\, new and old friends\, hot weather\, dust\, random encounters\, discovering cosmic awareness\, losing your tent\, changing your name\, falling in love with a Portuguese\, deciding to go to India or not to go to India anymore… can all contribute to an awesome yet unpredictable adventure! \nThe Boom Festival takes place near Idanha-a-Nova\, Portugal\, on the shores of an enchanting lake\, few kms away from the Spanish border. The closest main city is Castelo Branco. Boom is about 260 km from Lisbon and 360 km from Madrid (Spain). \nThis is a camping event. We recommend that you bring a tent\, sleeping bag\, mattress\, poles\, tarps and other infrastructures you might need to create a shaded campsite. Prepare for hot weather. Free water is available on site. There will be plenty of yummy food available for purchase in the restaurant area and in the Boom grocery store.

We’ll be moving to the Ginger Minx in Valley Rd\, at the city end of Dominion Rd. \nAs a bunch of you know we are incorporating Auckland Burners as a society and we’d like to do that this Wednesday. As such we’re going to need to have 15 people to sign up as members at this meet up. Relationships are created\, neighbors meet one another\, and our collective survival is challenged. This is not a spectator event. It is difficult for you to take a role in the community if you are in Jilikin Rock City for less than 24 hours. In order to experience the true essence of Blazing Swan\, you will want to become part of the community. Therefore\, there are no day passes sold\, and no discounts given based on your length of stay. Of course\, it is not necessary that you come for the entire week. You are welcome to arrive early in the week and stay for just a portion of the event.
