The Arts Department currently has a bunch of year round roles on offer. You may be wondering, why are there so many available?
So, the wonderful humans of the Arts team thought they’d provide some clarity on why this is. So here’s what they had to say:
Why are there so many roles available?
There are a few different factors for this! These are listed below, but also, the Arts Department is still growing, so this is to be expected!
1) Various people are taking a break due to life stuff, seeking new role, no longer fit
2) Breaking up existing roles into smaller bite-sized chunks
3) New roles for our growing services
4) Some roles have not yet been filled from last year
What roles are currently on offer?
Given we have many roles on offer, we won’t list them all here, instead we will highlight a few each week!
– Burnable Art Build Coordinator: This year round role supports the processes involved in our Effigy and Temple artworks. Essentially, you’ll be responsible for ensuring we have an awesome, and achievable Effigy and Temple – and that we get to burn it! – Kiwiburn Arts Committee Member (KAC): We currently need two fabulous humans to join the KAC. The KAC is responsible for facilitating some of the amazing art on the Paddock each year and administer the art grant scheme – deciding what art to fund with money from ticket sales.
