Sprongus, the darling of the Paddock, is turning 3 and, as any mature rat knows, gratitude is the secret to a long and happy life.
Have you ever thought “wow, for a place that is all about gifting I’m surprised no one puts on a shared lunch event”? Well think no more! Come on up to R.A.T on Thursday at 2pm for Sprongus’ Birthday Gratitude Picnic! There will be cake, Big Hummus, and a huge ol’ pot of vegan mac and cheese – plus whatever you’re bringing to share!
Bring as much or as little as you like! A whole roasted goose? A bushel of apples? Some chips? A single carrot stick? Bring it! In the spirit of Gifting and Communal Effort, give what you can, take what you need. There’s room at the table for everyone!
During the meal we’ll discuss what we’re all grateful for and read some quotes from the illustrious Robin Wall Kimmerer. The Gratitude Picnic is a great way to kick off your Burn, celebrating the principle of Gifting, and reminding us that there is enough for everyone if we share.
