Get in on the Trash Renaissance Fair fun early!

Oct 22, 2024

Hyped about this years Kiwiburn theme but don’t want to wait until January to get involved? Well you’re in luck! ARTery is hosting not one but two events in November where YOU can get involved in theme related fun. It’ll be a great chance for you to get prepared for KB25, have some fun and get creative!

Here’s the lowdown on the two events:

Auckland: Trash to Treasure material swap

2nd November
10am – 2pm
Beach haven hall
336 Rangatira Road

In the spirit of the Trash Renaissance Fair (the theme for Kiwiburn 2025), the ARTery Kiwiburn team is organizing a materials swap for Burner Artists and Theme Camps!

How it would work:

People would bring in their extra materials they have been hoarding for future upcycling projects, and any other unwanted items for gifting or swap/exchange. Anything not swapped or gifted would be taken home by the person who brought it (Leave no Trace).

This could be a great opportunity for burner artists to pick up their requested items in one go, and for artists to come together as a community and meet future paddock friends. All artists are welcome!

Want to display your upcycled art? If you have art pieces made from recycled materials that you’d like to showcase at the event, please let us know!
