Our previous edition of the EFP (and this week – peep the next article) included a survey on setting the AGM date and sourcing an alternative to Facebook. For the AGM survey and attendance we mentioned you would need to be a member of Kiwiburn Inc. We received a couple of queries about how to become members.
Membership in this case means you are either a KB25 member or a KB26 member (or both).
You are a KB25 member if you:
- were the final purchaser of a ticket for KB25 (whether you attended or not does not matter),
- were accepted for direct membership in 2025
Your KB25 membership expiry in either of the above two cases is extended until the date of the 2025 AGM whenever it is held – either on Paddock in January or online in February (have your say in the survey).
Alternatively you will be a KB26 member if you:
- are the final purchaser of a ticket for KB26
- were accepted for direct membership for 2026
If you are a current financial KB26 member under either of the above options then you are entitled to attend the AGM covering 2025 activities.
If you have not yet purchased a KB26 ticket but are scheduled to be offered a ticket to purchase for KB26 then once that ticket is paid then you become a member that way. All KB26 tickets will have been paid for before the event starts and therefore also before the AGM.
For information on membership and how to become a member please refer to the Kiwiburn Membership page.
