Kiwiburn is seeking a Site Safety Facilitator 2iC — a big-picture thinker who loves keeping our temporary city safe and thriving. You’ll support the Site Safety Facilitator, Health & Safety, FAST (Fire Arts & Safety), and Perimeter teams, helping everyone from artists to participants create, build, and burn responsibly. You’ll help maintain safety policies, coordinate teams, and assist with burn planning alongside FENZ, playing a key role behind the scenes.
This year-round volunteer role (2–5 hours/week, more in the lead-up to the event) is perfect for organised, communicative problem-solvers who enjoy supporting teams, improving processes, and keeping Kiwiburn safe and fun. Spreadsheets and documentation skills are a bonus!
