We’d like to acknowledge and thank Cherie for her time and energy as Kiwiburn’s Arts Facilitator over the past two years.
During her time in the role, Cherie brought incredible passion and commitment to the arts at Kiwiburn. She championed creative expression and supported artists with energy and heart. Cherie was instrumental in shaping the Art Department to better meet the needs of artists in our community. Her dedication helped grow a new artist support team, improve art grant processes, and place a strong focus on making the arts more accessible and sustainable.
Being in a volunteer leadership role at Kiwiburn isn’t simple. It requires a lot in terms of time, heart, and the ability to balance both creative vision and community complexity. Cherie stepped into that space with a deep commitment to the arts and gave it her all, even when it was hard.
Thank you, Cherie, for everything you brought to the role. We see the energy, the care, and the love you poured in. We wish you all the best for whatever comes next, and know that your creative spark will continue to find beautiful places to land.
