Recently we sent out a survey asking a couple of important questions. The survey is now closed, so we can now share the results of said survey, and thus announce when the Kiwiburn 2025 AGM will take place!
We had 107 responses to the survey. 33.6% of respondents said they would prefer the AGM to take place post-event (on 24 February). 26.2% of respondents said they’d prefer it to be on the Paddock at KB26. 40.2% of respondents said they were happy with either option.
When you add the numbers together, we have:
– 73.8% of the respondents who would prefer it to take place after the event
Vs
– 66.2% of respondents who would prefer it to take place on the Paddock at KB26
So without further ado, we can now announce that the AGM will take place on the evening of 24 February – this will be online!
Look out for more details and a link closer to the time.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer the survey – we’re stoked that you had a chance to have your say and that the community gets to decide when best suits them for the AGM!
Speaking of the survey, the other important question we asked was which social media platform you’d prefer to move to.
A quick reminder: we’re moving off of Facebook as an official platform for discussion. The main reasons being that it doesn’t align with Burner principles and that the auto moderation is getting out of hand. You can read more about our reasoning here! This does not mean we’re stopping anyone from using Facebook, we just won’t administer it. The page will continue to be used to post news/info etc, but won’t be able to be commented on, so it’ll be info only (just like the EFP). We will be doing a QR code initiative on the Paddock to increase readership of the EFP too!
Now back to the survey – the responses were clear, Discord was the winner by far, with over 50% of the votes. So we will be adopting Discord as an official Kiwiburn platform in the near future!
Please note – this won’t be happening pre-KB26, so look out for more news on this after the event.
