Yes, ‘tis true. We are STILL short on volunteers for Kiwiburn 2023.
We volunteers are a fickle and leaderless bunch. We need a strong, not-so-silent-type to check in onsite and see that everybody’s labour is being put to good use.
The irreplaceable Jax needs replacing. So we are asking for you, your pals, your nanna’s book club, to ask around and see who is ready to step up and become our new Onsite Volunteer Coordinator.
The role requires some online work using Airtable, and a good amount of liaising and following up with volunteers and their teams.
You don’t have to be a people person, just a person person will do!
“The Onsite Volunteer Coordinator works mostly pre-event to support the registrations of onsite volunteers and matching them up to the various teams. It is their job to manage any information in the Volunteer Management System (Airtable) relating to onsite volunteers. A key responsibility of this role includes following up with team leads to ensure that their volunteer requirements are met, as well as supporting team leads to give onsite volunteers the best possible experience.”
Most importantly, we needn’t remind you that all KB volunteers have access to buying a ticket without having to win the lottery! So, if you missed your chance, this could be your way onto the Paddock!
Why not follow this cheeky link and see if this could be your thing?
