Kiwiburn is seeking thoughtful, level-headed humans to join the Conduct Committee — the team dedicated to upholding our Code of Conduct and helping keep our community safe. This committee provides a confidential, fair, and ethical process for documenting and responding to reports of misconduct, always with care, clarity, and respect. They don’t determine guilt or innocence, but instead make reasonable recommendations to best protect the wellbeing of the wider Kiwiburn whānau. It’s important, sensitive mahi that supports robust and transparent processes while ensuring everyone involved is treated with empathy and dignity.
We’re looking for people with sound judgement, strong communication skills, and ideally experience in mediation, mental health, conflict resolution, or trauma-informed practice. You’ll need healthy boundaries, good organisation skills, and the ability to be both compassionate and firm when required. The workload ebbs and flows (generally 1–3 hours per week during busier periods), and the team supports one another to keep it sustainable. If this sounds like your kind of contribution, or you’d like to know more, reach out to conductcommittee@kiwiburn.com.
