Conduct Committee Needs YOU!

Mar 23, 2026

Kiwiburn is on the lookout for calm, considerate humans to join the Conduct Committee. They’re a small team that helps care for our community by responding to behaviour concerns in a thoughtful and respectful way.

This epic group works through reports with discretion and fairness, focusing on what actions will best support the safety and wellbeing of the wider whānau. Rather than passing judgement, the Committee offers balanced recommendations, ensuring situations are handled with integrity, clarity, and compassion.

They’re keen to connect with people who communicate well, think critically, and can hold space for complex situations. Experience in areas like mediation, mental wellbeing, conflict support, or trauma-aware approaches is a bonus but not essential. If you’re also organised, grounded, and able to navigate tricky conversations with both empathy and confidence, this is the role for you.

Time commitment varies (often around 1–3 hours a week during busier periods), and the team makes a real effort to support one another, sharing the load when things get intense or life outside Kiwiburn needs attention.

If this feels like a meaningful way you’d like to contribute, or you’re curious to learn more, reach out via conductcommittee@kiwiburn.com
