Last week we put out an article stating that closed toe shoes will now be mandatory on the Paddock.
Well we are happy to report that this is not true, this was a malicious rumour started by Camp Nipple Clamp (CNC) in order to try and establish credibility as a trusted news source (hah, good luck with that!).
So no, shoes are not mandatory on the Paddock.
UNLESS you are a DJ. Why only DJs? Well DJs carry the full weight of Kiwiburn on their backs, and we wouldn’t want them to drop it on their toes now would we? That’d surely hurt. And given 99% of the Kiwiburn community identify as DJs, that’s a LOT of H&S forms we’d have to fill out. We don’t think the Health and Safety vollies need that extra work.
So, rest assured, no shoes needed on the Paddock (but you may want to wear some when you’re in CNC, as stepping foot in their camp means you’re already ankle-deep in unreliable reporting)!
