Heading to the Paddock? Then you should make sure you know when you can and can’t make it through the gates!
Gate hours for Kiwiburn 2024 are:
- Wednesday 24 January Express Lane: 8am – 9am* General Public: 9am Close: 10pm
- Thursday 25 January Open: 10am Close: 8pm
- Friday 26 January Open: 10am Close: 8pm
- Saturday 27 January Open: 10am Close: 12pm (midday, final entry)
- Sunday 28 January Gate closed, no entry
- Monday 29 January EXODUS: Participants must leave the site by 1pm

The Express Entry (formerly known as fast lane) will be available throughout Wednesday, but on top of this, we’re dedicating the first hour (8-9am) to only processing participants with express entry. This means, unless you have express entry, you will not be allowed down Cooks Road until after 9am (if you try, you’ll probably have to wait even longer than if you’d just waited til 9am). More info here. Please note that Cooks Road will be closed completely right up to SH54, so no early queueing!
