Kiwiburn’s social media pages have been fairly undramatic and troll-free for all the years they have existed. Thanks for being such a polite community! Occasionally it is good to remind everyone there are guidelines for belonging to a Group, so always take the time to think before you post.
The Kiwiburn Group guidelines are:
“Kiwiburn is New Zealand’s Regional Burning Man event. Before you post here, consider whether your post is relevant to Kiwiburn or more suitable for your personal page. Kiwiburn does not tolerate posts or comments abusing other community members, nor those regarding politics, illegal activities (eg drugs), weapons or violence. All inappropriate posts will be removed. You can report a post or a comment to the Group Admins for moderation any time using the facebook function.”
Important note: If you are adding people to the Group, remind them that they must answer two questions as part of the approval process. The team will delete the join request if the questions remain unanswered after a month.
