KB24 Stats

Feb 12, 2024

If you were on the Paddock this year, you may have felt the difference in the atmosphere – and not just because we didn’t have a Swamp Stomp repeat. The stats are in!

  • This year there were a total of 1835 tickets sold with 1651 actually on site, meaning 89% of people with tickets actually participated on Paddock. For comparison, last year there were 2409 tickets sold with 91% of ticket holders making it to the Paddock.
  • There were ~25% less people on Paddock this year compared to last year. The main reason for this were the reduced ticket numbers, and the main reason for that was insufficient volunteers.
  • The ‘missing’ 165 tickets were largely due to things being left ‘til the last minute and tickets being released into STEP too late – we are working on our timelines to ensure this goes better next year.
  • Of the 1835 tickets sold this year, 53 were for Artists, 657 were allocated through Theme Camps, and there were 375 allocated to Crew and Volunteers. 74 kids tickets were sold, and 676 adult tickets allocated through the lottery – 37% of attendees.

As you can see, the best way to get to the Paddock in 2025 is to volunteer! Don’t leave it to chance. Check out the year-round volunteer opportunities (keep an eye on these throughout the year as new roles always pop up) and as we get closer to KB25 (who’s counting down already?!) keep your eyes peeled for onsite volunteer positions.
