Wow, that was one for the books! While most of us sauntered off a week ago or so, some incredibly hard working humans have only just finished packing down the last of the on-site infrastructure. So, now that Kiwiburn 2025 Trash Renaissance Fair is truly over, we wanted to take a second to reflect on what the heck just happened.
While every Kiwiburn is amazing, this one just felt extra amazing. There were several hundred more humans on the Paddock than there were in 2024, so it was definitely a bigger Burn this year. There were 79 Theme Camps and 42 Art Installations. Go you! This meant that the Paddock felt alive, the energy was truly palpable and the vibes were golden. Whether you spent your time at workshops, dancing, volunteering, lounging at the river, or being in a constant state of awe, it was just an absolute pleasure to be there.
We hope you had as good of a time as we did! Now that you’re (hopefully) almost fully recovered, why not start planning what you’ll bring to Kiwiburn 2026? It’s the perfect time to take all of that inspiration and start putting it towards a new art piece, start/join a Theme Camp or perhaps pick up a full year round volunteer role. Take it from us, volunteering is the best way to stay connected to Kiwiburn all year round.
Bring on Kiwiburn 2026!
