Kiwiburn needs a new Secretary (and a Secretary 2iC), and we think you’d make a damn fine one. Yes, you! You with your amazing admin superpowers, timeliness, communication skills and love of all things Kiwiburn.
The Kiwiburn Secretary is keeper and moderator of ExCom’s activities, facilitating ExCom and Admin team members in executing their goals for each Kiwiburn event. It may sound like a lot but basically you’ll just need to be on to it and kick ass at communicating with fellow volunteers. The benefit of being Secretary is that you’ll be everyone’s friend and they will all love you. Not to mention all fellow ExCom members will kiss the ground you walk on because you keep them all in line and hurry them up in their monthly ExCom meetings (Please note – ground kissing is not guaranteed). Not quite ready to take on the role of world conquering, all powerful Secretary? Then perhaps you’d rather be 2iC to the omnipotent Secretary? While you may miss out on ground kissing, it’s still an important role and you’ll at least receive mad brownie points from your fellow year round volunteers.
