After last years event fully sold out before the event… CHUR BURN is back for second date in 2017.
Sat May 27th – 8pm ’til late as. An afterburn party to re-ignite the magic of Kiwiburn festival, 500+ people come together on a Tug Boat for an incredible multi-zone dance party, hosted by the friendly bass bandits at Barrio Del Chur.

DRESS CODE
Regular street clothes will not cut the mustard!
COSTUMES COSTUMES COSTUMES! No binding theme… just come as the most FABULOUS version of your self. A full-blown rockstar. Tight & bright, rediculous & revealing, bold & beautiful, fantasy & facepaint. Careful though: things like sequins, feathers and glitter are a NO-NO as they fall off easily and create MOOP! (matter out of place) … in other words, rubbish!
We will transform our floating docked VENUE in to a psychedelic wonderland of exceptional visual stimuli – layers of decor, smoke haze, trippy illusions, lazer lighting effects, projection mapping, and other out-of-this world visual paraphernalia!
//ZONE ONE: The ENGINE ROOM – The main dance floor arena downstairs in the hull of The Tug, where the DJs let rip, the performers flaunt their talents, the main bar is serving drinks and the party is truely ACTIVATED.
//ZONE TWO: The BAR LOUNGE booth seating, cool and hot refreshments, and harbour night views.
//ZONE THREE: SNUG CITY – An ultra-soft chill space set up by infamous KB theme camps: Sea Snugs and Pillowtopia. Featuring soft lounging layers of super snuggly things: pillows, hammocks, stuffed animals, blankies, combined with trippy decor, soft UV lighting, a long lasting psychedelic downtempo musical playlist, and an interactive projection surprise…
VJs: VisionChips Visuals, Kellective , more to be announced!
The night will have direction and intention, guiding you on a journey from start to finish, adding each mind-blowing element to your evening chapter by chapter, allowing you to design and control your party experience whicever way you choose to roll.
