The iconic and passionate co-founder of Burning Man, Larry Harvey, passed one year ago on 28 April. An artist, philanthropist and noted speaker, he was possibly best known for writing the 10 Guiding Principles of Burning Man. He saw Burning Man grow from a small gathering in 1986 on a beach near San Francisco into the major event attended by 70,000 in the Nevada desert it is today.
