Last month a collective of Wellington based burners rose to the call of “Burners in Action”.
What is Burners in Action?
It’s still taking shape, but here’s a bit of what we have so far…
A space to actively re-energise, a forum to pitch ideas, a place to mobilise and outreach to the local community. A home to build and regenerate, share resources, nurture our mental wellness, and serve as a base for action.
Who is this for?
Everyone! Whether you’re already in action and in need of support, or you have an idea and are in need of collaboration, or you simply want to know more and offer some support.
When is it?
The plan is to meet monthly – the next one will be Monday 10th June, 6:30 – 9pm at Friends of Vogelmorn, 93 Mornington Rd, Brooklyn, Wellington. Starting with an optional potluck from 6:30-7pm, and a facilitated session from 7-9pm.
What to bring?
Koha for the venue ($1 is perfect).
Shared potluck kai (optional, from 6:30 – 7pm, ideally zero waste and vegan).
