Alive Painting by Trailblazer! Come sit and watch, or come up for a yarn while Trailblazer paints a mural for the burn, an intuitive-led painter who’s inspiration and creations come from the people, the land, the waters, the music and vibes surrounding her. She’s an intuitive-led artist, as the days pass watch the magic unfold! Bede Maxted Memorial, write a letter, draw a picture or come to pay your respects To that one guy who gets left standing outside the portaloos holding everyone's coats, cups, umbrellas, tiger balm, pot plants, pet llamas…. I see you. I release you. Cloakroom is tapping in. To everyone else, Cloakroom will be there for you when no-one else is! When you are bursting for a pee but your hands are full of goodies that you are scared will fall into the chemically blue abyss, Cloakroom has your back! It will hold your cup, your coat and your doof stick. By day it will tell you you look beautiful (or point out the chia seed you have stuck in your teeth) by night it will shine infinite hearts upon you. It will even lend you a light to check there are no creepy crawlies on the loo seat. Pee peacefully, priceless pickles. Creature cove, just a small gang of wooden creatures that come alive at night. Effigy's through the ages is back, and better (hopefully) than ever! Two effigy's have been burned since the original quilts completion, is it time for a sequel yet? Not quite! But two new patchwork blocks have been created from upcycled, scrap and rescued materials and will be on display! The beginnings of a new quilt that will evolve over time to form Effigy's through the Ages 2.0! (Names still being confirmed...) "Food Prints" is an evocative art installation that elevates the humble paper towel into a canvas for capturing the fleeting moments of daily life. Each piece in the collection showcases the stains, smudges, and marks left behind after meals, transforming the paper towel from a disposable object into a record of an intimate, personal experience. Every towel is unique, embodying the remnants of a specific meal—a snapshot of the food and the hands that wiped away grease, sauce, or crumbs. These stains are the "footprints" we leave behind after nourishing ourselves, a trace of the momentary joy, comfort, or messiness of eating. Like fingerprints, no two towels are alike, making each one a visual and tactile reflection of an unrepeatable experience. In "Food Prints," the simple act of wiping one’s mouth becomes an artistic gesture, immortalizing the human connection to food and the often-overlooked rituals that surround it. Each print tells a story, not just of what was eaten, but of the personal and emotional experience tied to that meal—whether it's a solo breakfast or a shared feast with loved ones. Through this installation, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, turning disposable remnants into lasting memories. The ethereal forest fairies, appear almost invisible as they blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. These transparent figures, displayed amidst the trees, evokes a sense of otherworldliness, as if the fairies exist in the liminal space between worlds, inviting viewers to ponder the delicate balance between reality and the mystical. Come and witness the ethereal beauty of the galactic manta ray. Gliding through the air currents, this celestial ray will mesmerize you during the day, but visit her at night to see her true beauty revealed. The artist in (camper van) residence invites you to view her quirky and provocative work on paper, board and canvas. Visit Michelanne Forster's Gallery on Wheels where you can barter for all art hanging from her Art Clothesline in front of the van. Giant Glowing Pixie Wings Standing 3 metres wide and over 2 metres tall with 50 metres of different coloured el wire and 55 metres of led strip lights, these bright and colourful Giant Pixie Wings are a spectacle to be seen both during the day, and when they light up the paddock after dark. Come admire and imagine these giant wings are your own as you pose for a pic in front, or just enjoy the asthetics.. *Ring, ring*. Who's there? Oh, no, Barney is not available here, you must have the wrong number, sorry! If my artwork is accepted, I will provide this promptly. Hiya, I’d love to produce a large, or multiple small discs for visual effects A linothorax cuirass inspired by Italian renaissance "alla romana" parade armours. A fine example of recursive fashion, it is a modern take on a renaissance take of a classical fashion. Made from found and gifted trash. Ingredients: Nangs, couches, linoleum, nails, hot water cylinder, scrap steel If you get the joke of a linoleum linothorax, this one's for you. By day, it’s a dome of trash. By night, it’s a dome of glowing trash. Come marvel at the geodesic disaster and dazzle two of your senses at the same time. If the lights are off and nobody’s home, make the place your own. The louder you are, the brighter it’ll shine. This installation will make you wonder if you're crazy... Those LEDs seem to be broken and flicke... Oh wait! What did I just see??? Hurry up... what's the time... how long until that thing we wanted to see is on...??? Don't you worry!!! Leave your devices and smart watches at home... no need to track the sun or the stars... we'll tell you when its time to party, to rest, to connect and get to that next exciting camp for their chance to show you a good time (pun intended). The ReClock Cycle will be there for you whenever you need it. Its time to relax and explore!! As caterpillars unfold into butterflies, beauty can emerge from the rubbish we discard. Kiwiburn got your creative juices flowing and you need an outlet? Come visit the Sodden Velvet Craft corner, where you can pick up a paintbrush, get hooking with some crochet, add a row to the knit-a-row and make the needlepoint memory of your dreams. When a star burns to the point of its final evolutionary stages it creates a luminous powerful explosion. This is what we call supernova. Inspired by the imagery of a supernova, this artwork is a of a minimalistic freestanding still form that forms a focal point and can be enjoyed near and far. Guide This Artwork was supported by a KAC Grant. The structure invites people to contemplate the physical and metaphysical connections of themselves to others, the current and past Kiwiburns, the web of life, of our responsibilities and connections to each other and the all life in the world. Step into the rhythm of The Cosmic Pendulum, where swinging motion creates hypnotic waves of energy within a reimagined future. This interactive wave pendulum invites you to reflect on life’s natural flow, its highs, lows, and everything in between. Set against a world that merges the remnants of the old with visions of the new. Find balance in the chaos, as discarded pieces of time and motion come together to create something beautifully unexpected. Tip-toe curiously into the garden while you contemplate symbiosis and reciprocity in the fine company of your giant, generous plant pals. Experience the profound exploration of individuality in "The Human Gallery," an exhibition by New Zealand-based photographer Katharina Thoma. Born from her freelance photographer journey with perfectionism and societal ideals, this collection of striking photographs is more than a visual feast—it’s a powerful testament to both vulnerability and authenticity. Since 2022, Thoma has dedicated her craft to documenting stories of self-acceptance and liberation, culminating in an evocative book project. This exhibition highlights the raw beauty of diverse identities, paired with candid statements on body image and mental health. "The Human Gallery" invites you to witness a relatable mosaic of narratives that defy conventional norms, celebrating the unique essence of every individual through art.
