Tell us a little about yourself:
Firstly, what does the Infrastructure Facilitator role involve?
With support of a team of master enslavers, we make sure that all KB volunteer-fairies are well fed and fit to be exploited, and the infrastructure-fairies know what they have to do to build the KB temporary infrastructure in a prompt and efficient manner (failing that, they get a spank and a cookie). Last but not least, we ensure that visiting the loos remains a wonderful journey for all your senses and an unforgettable experience.
How do you spend your time when you are not doing things related to Kiwiburn?
My day-to-day job involves organising professional construction fairies around the rebuilding of catastrophe-devastated townships.
Being involved with Kiwiburn can take a lot of energy. How do you re-energise?
I found virgin blood baths quite invigorating, but have recently switched to regular slightly chlorinated water in my kiwitub (virgin blood attracts mosquitoes).
Do you have a favourite burn outfit?
Keep an eye out for the psychedelic Mexican Xmas tree.
What has been your favourite moment at a Burn?
People-fishing on the BM Playa was quite a highlight.
What are you most excited about for Kiwiburn 2021?
If you see a flashing MOOP on the ground, leave it there. You’ve been warned.
