Kiwiburn is on the hunt for a few traffic-taming legends to join our Traffic Team as STMS-A volunteers! (Site Traffic Management Supervisor with an A level qualification, for the layman) If you’re certified, cool-headed, and keen to help the paddock flow smoothly, we’d love to have you on board. You’ll help shape, supervise, and safely guide our Temporary Traffic Management Plan — before, during, and after the Burn — all while keeping participants, neighbours, and the wider Rangitikei community happy. Think of it as orchestrating a grand vehicular dance: cones, signs, radios, dust, and a whole lot of Burners eager to get home to their art and adventures.
As STMS-A, you’ll support the Traffic Team Lead, liaise with councils and crews, help wrangle training, gear, and schedules, and keep comms flowing like a well-managed one-way system. It’s a role with real impact, real responsibility, and real community vibes. If you love organisation, safety, collaboration, and the occasional glamorous umbrella moment, step up and help keep the Burn rolling.
