If you haven’t had your head in the sand, you’ll have known that Kiwiburn was looking for a new Chairperson.

Well we’re happy to report that we have now filled this role!

Keri, Kiwiburn’s (until now) acting Chair is now full time Chair, after being voted in at the last ExCom meeting.

When asked if they applied because they were tired of playing musical chairs (since they were also our Site Safety Facilitator), Keri responded ‘This Chair has no musical talent’.

While they were the only applicant, ExCom also felt that Keri had done a great job as acting Chair (and possessing musical talent isn’t a requirement of the role), so they were happy to vote Keri in.

So, a big thank you to Keri for stepping up to be Kiwiburn’s Chair! We’re sure they’ll do a fantastic job in the role.
