On Sunday (24 November), the illustrious, all-powerful and ever-benevolent gods of fate and chance drew the ticket lottery for Kiwiburn 2025! If you ARE one of the fortunate individuals who got a lottery ticket, congrats, you lucky buggers. Once you’re done celebrating, here’s a couple of things you need to know.
- You have SEVEN days; one Earth week; 168 hours, to buy your ticket(s)! There are no exceptions to this. If you are abducted by aliens between now and next week, you better ask them for their Wi-Fi password so you can login and buy your tickets, or else you’ll be boo-hoo-hooing your way back down to Earth when your tickets get re-allocated into the STEP queue.
For everyone else who didn’t get a ticket, do not falleth into despair! You have automatically been assigned a position in the STEP queue, and will be there ready to snap up any tickets (and there will always be more than a few) that people can’t purchase, or have to give up for whatever reason.
