A special notice from this year’s Temple Team!
The Temple team (“The Capsule”) is looking for a Pallet Lead for one of the most critical logistics jobs in our build: sourcing the reclaimed pallets that will form a large part of the Temple structure.
The job:
- Source ~200 pallets (reclaimed/free where possible – think supermarkets, distribution centres, hardware stores, industrial estates)
- Arrange storage for them in the lead-up to the burn
- Arrange transport of all pallets to the Hunterville paddock, delivered by 15 January 2027
You’ll be sorting the pallets and coordinating directly with the build leads – this is a job for someone who’s organised, resourceful, and good on the phone/email chasing down free stuff.
Note: while we won’t ask for cost estimates at application stage, the Pallet Lead will be responsible for estimating and organising costs (storage, transport/fuel, etc.) once appointed, in coordination with the build budget holder.
This role comes with a crew ticket and at least one standard Kiwiburn ticket.
