A couple of weeks ago, the team formerly known as ‘Comms’ got together to discuss how to make the Dept. of Propaganda the most believable, the most reliable, the most trustworthy propaganda posse Kiwiburn has ever seen.
In between devouring pies and pizza, sharing many laughs, and having cat snuggles, the DoP dove into what has been going well, what areas we could improve on (hint: none, we do not succumb to the mortal ways of imperfection), and things that we’d like to achieve in the coming months (like getting more people signed up to read this awesome propaganda publication, the only source for KB truth – tell yo’ friends!).
Every year, the DoP meets at a top secret location to scheme, shmooze, and partake in summit shenanigans – something we absolutely love doing. But, why do we do this? We spend the year keeping the DoP running through computer screens, and while we’re pretty good at communicating that way, there’s nothing quite like getting together in person to keep the energy and excitement alive. It gives us a chance to check in and share ideas, to get to know new team mates, and to jump into the busy pre-Burn months feeling motivated and passionate about what we do.
