  • Burning Seed – 2022 officially postponed

Unfortunately, recent wet weather has made the site inaccessible by 2WD vehicles, and the forecast is not promising for the dry weather needed to make repairs in time. The Burning Seed Town Council have deliberated over this and have ultimately come to the decision that they believe it would be safer, for both participants and the site itself, to delay the event.

The new date is looking to be around March/April 2023 with confirmation of this coming in the next couple of weeks. Ticketing info, including the process for current ticket holders, will be released within the next week.

  • Burning Man – starts in 5 days!

Art is one of the core elements of any Burn, and this year at Burning Man, there will be Art-a-plenty! Currently, there are 383 pre-registered Art pieces with more to come.

Some Artists still need a bit of last minute help to get their Art to the Playa. Take a look at all the BRC Art projects that are in need of financial support and please donate if you can.

  • Midburn – less than two months to go

Things are ramping up as final preparations for Midburn begin. They’ve put together a list of helpful articles and upcoming meetings for participants – well worth a read if you’re heading to Israel to Burn in October.

  • AfrikaBurn – all you need to know in one handy-dandy wiki

AfrikaBurn have created a pretty damn cool quaggapaedia* of everything you need to know about the event and beyond. With help from the wider community, this online survival guide will be your one-stop-shop when preparing for AfrikaBurn.

*A quagga is that animal that doesn’t know if it’s a zebra or a horse, and Quaggafontein (zebra-horse-spring, literally!) is the new home of the AfrikaBurn event.
