If you’ve missed the previous info on Facebook or in the EFP, and your mate Greg/Shane/Hamish hasn’t told you how to get a ticket then you’re reading the right article. Allow us to answer your questions, and put your mind at ease.

Q: How do I get a ticket?
A: There are 4 ways to get a ticket.
1. Get to the front of the STEP queue.
2. Be given the opportunity to buy one by a friend.
3. You can get yourself a ticket if you are part of a Theme Camp who has reserve tickets to assign
4. Volunteer! Some roles come with tickets. Check out the available positions here.
Q: What if I missed entering the lottery?
A: You will need to enter the STEP queue. Before you can do this, you will need to create/update your Burner profile and then complete the survey. You can create/update your burner profile here and you can complete the survey here. You can then join the STEP queue by clicking here.
Q: What is a STEP queue?
A: Secure Ticket Exchange Program, or STEP, is a queueing system maintained by our ticketing provider, Quicket. It keeps track of everyone’s place in the queue. As people at the front of the queue buy tickets, they are removed from the queue and then everyone moves forward.
Q: How many tickets can I buy if I reach the front of the queue?
A: You can buy up to 2 tickets.
Q: How long do I have to buy my ticket/s?
A: When you reach the front of the queue, and tickets become available for you to buy, you will have 48 hours to purchase them.
Q: Can I sell my ticket to a friend?
A: Yes, you can transfer your ticket to your friend through Quicket. Go here to read about how to do it.
Q: What if I/we have bought ticket/s, but I/we can no longer attend (and I/we don’t have friends to sell it/them to)?
A: You can sell the tickets to the front of the STEP queue. You can find the tool for this here.
Q: Can I sell my ticket for more than I paid for it?
A: No, if we find out about any tickets being sold for more than the standard ticket price, those tickets will be cancelled. Be a good human, don’t scalp.
Q: Can I buy a ticket at the gate?
A: No, there are no gate sales.
Q: Can I just hop the fence?
A: No, the paddock is surrounded by a large moat, which is home to piranhas and crocodiles. There’s even been sightings of sharks with laser beams on their heads living in the moat, although we’ve never seen one. But do you really want to risk it?
Q: Ok seriously can I hop the fence?
A: No, everyone will be wearing a wristband, and it’ll be obvious if you aren’t!
Q: Can I bribe the ticketing team to get a ticket?
A: The current bribe for a KB24 ticket is 15 macbook chargers and 2 warm do bros. But seriously, there’s no bribing allowed!
