Dec 10, 2018

Kia ora koutou,

Monday 10th December is International Human Rights Day, celebrating that adoption of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. That’s exactly 70 years ago! So that’s cool.

Listen up! Here is just a little bit of regional news for you –

Community conversations – launched by Burners Without Borders, kicked off by BWB Vancouver.

A wee reminder about Global Art Grants, the applications close on 19th December. They are looking for community-driven works of art.

Aaaand just in case you’re interested, meet NewHere – a small community ‘burn’ in Barcelona. It began at the turn of 2018 as an unofficial burn-style event. This solstice/new year they return with an urban edition; ‘how to sane and sana in the city’. Here, take a look at the 2017/18 edition – burn-meets-permaculture.

OK that’s great, have a wonderful week you humans. Wear sunscreen.
