One of our most seasoned and treasured ExCom members, Shelley Watson, is retiring from the Communications Facilitator role soon, which means a position on the main decision making body will be available.
Do you think you can keep a watchful eye on all communication for Kiwiburn? This includes managing social media for content and adherence to etiquette (as mentioned above). It means being across all major announcements to ensure they go out in a timely and appropriate fashion, as well as managing contributions to the Electric Fencepost, the very newsletter you’re reading now. It also of course means writing and editing news stories, social media posts and heaps of emails, so excellent computer and writing skills are a must.
Being on the ExCom requires regular attendance of various committee meetings, and being involved with decision making aimed at improving Kiwiburn year on year. This is a year-round role. Interested?
