It is with great regret that Burning Man Organisation, for the first time in their history, decided to call off Black Rock City given the continued uncertainty around Covid-19.
Cancelling the event raises considerable financial issues for the entire organisation due to year-round running costs, and monies already spent for this year, so anyone who has bought tickets already is asked to either request a refund, or consider donating ticket costs. Transferring the ticket to next year is not an option.
The organisers are considering a digital event instead given the 2020 theme of “Multiverse”, with more info to come on what that might look like. For now, you can sign up now to be part of that online event.
