After a Serious Harm Incident at Kiwiburn this year, Worksafe undertook an investigation, standard procedure for an event of this nature. Kiwiburn has been diligent in providing them with all information relating to our set up and processes which have been developed over the years by our volunteers.
Worksafe completed their investigation and decided it is not in the public interest to pursue the matter further. While they found Kiwiburn’s health and safety processes to be sound, they have also identified a number of areas for improvement which have been incorporated into our Action Plan, outlined in our latest blog.
