After last year’s “Wettest Burn”, we are going to have a dry one (at least in terms of official fire guidelines in the area), and that means – Fire Restrictions.
Please note:
- No open fires will be permitted this year – no braziers, no wood BBQ’s (gas camp cookers and gas BBQ’s are still ok, just please always attend these and be mindful where you set them up – i.e. not near tents or directly on dry grass). Lighten your load and don’t pack fire equipment!
- Fires with obstructed flues and ashtrays are OK, but must be registered. Please check with Site Office when you arrive.
- Fire spinning is still ok with the usual safety precautions.
- We are still doing the Burns (phew!)
