Spring is (technically) here! This had the Kiwiburn Sustainability Initiative so excited, we had to get them to lie down for a bit. But they want your help! What better way to get hyped for a season of new life than to be a part of a native restoration project? Our Sustainability team is calling all green-thumbed Burners to become part of the ongoing work to transform Motuihe Island into a haven for native flora & fauna as part of Kiwiburn’s efforts to be carbon positive.
The Kiwiburn Sustainability team’s wish for this project is to “get together, help out an existing volunteer project and deepen connections across the Burner community”.
The event, on Sunday 4 September, involves a ferry trip to head across and spend a day in the sun planting native seeds with some sustainably minded people. All thumbs (and auxiliary digits) welcome!

So, assemble your possé, bust out the SPF 50+ and bring a chickpea sandwich!
