Twelve years ago today, Pete Lumos Wyatt accepted the role of Burning Man Regional Contact for New Zealand, joining three others at the time, including Kiwiburn founder Mark Stirling. Now there are just two of us representing New Zealand.
It is a year round volunteer position which requires paperwork, regular meetings, community consultation and social meet ups to help grow the Burner network.
“Regional Contacts help local Burners connect with each other, while bringing Burning Man principles and culture into their local communities through events and activities, year-round.”
