We are still working on how to do refunds as there are a number of factors that need to be considered. We will likely look to the community for some input as well. For example, considerations are:
- Refund amount (per our policy, this is a sliding scale, still being worked out in terms of logistics and gathering costs incurred to date)
- Allow transfer of some or all tickets to the following year, i.e. differentiate between crew and artist tickets versus named Theme Camps members (which may be more prone to change)
- Refunding tickets, but allowing those who had tickets first right of refusal for tickets?
- What happens to those in the STEP queue?
- Does timing of ticket purchase matter?
We want to get it right, so this is likely going to require a bit more thinking time and feedback from the community; watch out for a facebook poll or questions for next week’s ExCom session.
