The Man will Burn, will you be there?

May 11, 2026

An announcement on behalf of the motherland; Burning Man Tickets!

The main sale has now closed (boo) but the STEP queue tickets are available all the way through to August! (yay). For the uninitiated, STEP queue is a system of reselling tickets in-house (We use the same for KB).

So, if you’re thinking that this year is your year for the Burn, jump in the STEP queue and get in line for Black Rock City.

Main sale tickets are officially live now, which means it’s time to wrangle your campmates, commit to your bad decisions, and secure your place in the dust. Tickets range from USD $550 to $3,000, vehicle passes are $165, and purchases are capped at two tickets and one vehicle pass per person.

Not driving? Good onya, champions. Burner Express Bus tickets go on sale May 13, with departures from Reno and San Francisco. Not only eco-friendly, your car will thank you for not coating it in playa dust for the next decade.

There’s also a few opportunities floating around for people who like making things happen:

  • BoNZA Civic Ignition Grant applications are open until May 22, with up to USD $1,500 available for community projects across New Zealand (that’s us, yo) and Australia. If you’ve got a weird, generous, ambitious idea that benefits people, this is worth a look.
  • Earth Guardians are looking for speakers on environmental topics in Black Rock City.
  • Art, Placement, and Mutant Vehicle office hours are running online for anyone bringing projects to playa and wanting answers from actual humans.

The Man burns in 125 days.

No pressure.
