You may be wondering what will happen to the Kiwiburn Facebook Group and Page.
We have spoken about this at length previously, but we feel that Facebook no longer aligns with Burner Principles or Kiwiburn’s values. Not to mention the variety of issues that come from Facebook’s algorithm, such as how it hides posts that do not meet its community standards, without the moderators even seeing them, or being notified that it’s happened.
For the time being, we will leave the Facebook group open. However, we will be moving away from using it as our main community and discussion platform. We encourage you all to use the Discord, which offers more flexibility for a community like ours. For example, we have set up separate discussion channels for chat, general questions, and even a dedicated channel for shouting out Theme Camp fundraisers.
