Technical Stuff Announcement! Update of Kiwiburn Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Entry
In not-so-exciting-technical news, some superstars from Kiwiburn’s Leadership Team have been hard at work clarifying our policies to ensure Kiwiburners have their best possible experience at events, and within the Kiwiburn community! Our goal is to be as open and transparent with our members, attendees and users as possible. As a heads up, we want to let you know that we have made some changes to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, effective 27 July 2019.
The updated Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Entry can be found here. To break this down, below is an overview of the most important changes for you:
- More clearly defined; checkout the bullet point policies that link straight to the relevant sections you’re looking for (Sound Policy, anyone?).
- We have updated our Conduct guidelines, everybody can have a good time when everybody has a good time – safety is sexy!
Our Privacy Policy can be found here. This outlines the data you share and what’s done with it:
- Protecting and maintaining personal information from ticket buyers and website submissions (including volunteer applications).
- We’ve included updated information about third-party use, and data retention.
- If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us by email.
You do not have to do anything else in order to agree to these Terms. Your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions of Entry and Privacy Policy will be deemed to have been granted if you continue to use Kiwiburn products, features and services after the effective date. If you do not want to accept the terms, you can close your Burner Profile, unsubscribe from Kiwiburn’s Electric Fencepost, or discontinue using Kiwiburn products (*cough* Tickets) before 27 July, 2019.
