Blessing or curse, the times we live in are nothing if not interesting! The conversation about race, inclusivity and diversity has been intense in the past days in all areas of our lives, and that includes at Kiwiburn. Our Facebook page has been a place for vibrant conversation – while some of it has been difficult, we would like to thank our members for their positive engagement and ideas on how to make the conversation about Kiwiburn and diversity move forward. We would also like to remind everyone of the rules and purpose of the group page as this is a site to discuss Kiwiburn and Burner community related discussion or information, not conspiracy theories or extreme political views.
You will see that there are a number of positions open within ExCom at the moment – and as we strive for diversity within our own organisation, we would like to encourage Burners of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds to consider applying.
