What’s new in the wonderful world of the burn? Let’s take a look!

Modifyre has broken the sad news that no event will take place this year. This is due to not being able to put on the event safely, due to a variety of reasons, but citing a lack of resources. The team states that they need more time to prepare the new site and get everything ship shape before they can hold another event.

Ticket holders are being refunded in full. You can read more info on the cancellation here.

Afrikaburn took place at the beginning of the month and from what we hear, it was a great time. If you attended, and want to help them out, they are seeking feedback via a survey. You can find it here.

Lakes of Fire

Lakes of Fire is set to run from July 12-16. Tickets are now on sale via this link. They have switched over to Volunteeripate, a system that tracks volunteer hours and handles the lottery. You can also volunteer through the system, making it easier than ever to help out. You can read more about it in the previous link.
