Goooood morning, Kiwiburn fam! Your friendly neighbourhood weather-watcher here. I’ve got some good news and some great news for y’all!
If you were at Kiwiburn 2021, you might remember how bitterly cold it got once the sun went to bed. Well, the good news is *cue drumroll*: Kiwiburn 2023 can expect warmer evenings with temperatures only getting down to around 12-14°C (maybe this year it’ll actually be a run instead of a huddle?). During daylight hours, we can look forward to hot-but-not-so-hot-you-can’t-do-anything-except-sit-in-the-shade-and-sweat temperatures ranging from low to mid 20’s.
Now for the great news: we are likely in for a bit of rain throughout the week. Get your gummies out and prepare to dance in the rain, or sing in the rain if that’s your thing. We don’t judge. We should get some sunshine this week too, so don’t forget your sunnies, hats, and sunblock – the New Zealand sun can be pretty harsh and we don’t want to see any lobsters roaming round the Paddock! Slip. Slop. Slap. Wrap.
