Well, at the moment, it’s Andy Justice, who has kindly and ably filled the position of Acting Chair since last November (you’re a star, Andy!). However, now that Kiwiburn 2021 is a reality and the work of creating that magical thing in the Paddock is truly underway, it’s the perfect moment for a new, permanent, chair to step up. So are you The One who will lead us into the Mythical Picnic and beyond?
The Chair role is unlike other volunteer positions (read the job description here if you want to know why!). We are looking for someone who has already been involved in Kiwiburn, maybe as part of ExCom, maybe as a devoted volunteer. You need to be able to manage projects and people, have leadership skills and be keen to move Kiwiburn forward. We are looking for someone with plenty of energy and a vision to share with ExCom and make a reality.
