A Message about Safety on the Paddock

Reporting Incidents

Life on the Paddock doesn’t always go to plan and when that happens, you need to let us know.

We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment at Kiwiburn, and there are many trained and wonderful people on the Paddock to support you in the event that something does happen. Kiwiburn takes reports of misconduct very seriously (please refer to our Code of Conduct) and will evict people when necessary. This means we need to know that an incident took place, so the sooner an incident is reported, the better and quicker it can be dealt with.

Incidents include (but not limited to) witnessing anything unsafe (whether people or things), unacceptable behaviour, anyone in trouble for any reason, or medical events. To report any incidents you can find the Duty Site Manager, Rangers, Consent Guardians and Security roaming around the Paddock, you can also go to DeepSpace, the Sanctuary, the Depot (during the day), or find any volunteer with a radio to help you contact who you need. If in doubt, speak to one of these friendly folks and they will provide guidance, reassurance, and will help you out.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Burn.
