The Effigy and the Temple are, without a doubt, two of the most important Art pieces at Kiwiburn. Each year, these extraordinary works spark wonder and amazement in the hearts of Kiwiburners. If you’ve ever wanted to design, lead, and build the Effigy or the Temple, now is your chance!
Expressions of interest for the 2024 Effigy and Temple are now open. You don’t have to have all your I’s dotted and your T’s crossed yet – a solid and realistic concept worth frothing over is sufficient, for now. Initial concepts will be assessed, and if we want more details about yours, you’ll hear back around August, with the final selection being made in September.

Poster Design Competition
The 2024 Theme of DECADANCE has been selected and now we need some stellar visuals to accompany it. If you’re a graphic artist, or if you’ve a great idea and know someone who can do the graphic artsy part on your behalf, this is your chance to gain immeasurable grandeur while leaving your mark on Kiwiburn 2024: Decadance.
The winning design will not only be used in poster format, but we’ll chuck it onto stickers, wristbands, and volunteer patches too. You’ll pretty much be famous! Submit your ideas here by 15 July.
